AAUW Work Smart Salary Negotiation Workshop Oct. 25 from 11 AM to 1 PM at M State Fergus Falls

The Fergus Falls Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) is hosting a WORK SMART seminar. This free seminar is designed to help you negotiate for a new job, raise or promotion. The seminar will give you confidence in your negotiation style as you learn

  • How to identify and articulate your personal value 
  • How to develop an arsenal of persuasive responses and other negotiation strategies, including how to get a raise or promotion 
  • How to conduct objective market research to benchmark a target salary and benefits

The session will be led by local AAUW member, Jaime Price Anderson. Jaime is a PMP certified Project Manager who works with BW Integrated Systems (BWIS), formerly Thiele Technologies, in Fergus Falls. She has worked as a consultant and project manager for 12 years in a variety of industries including government/aerospace and defense, information technology, the nonprofit sector, and manufacturing.

Jaime understands the challenges professional working women face in West Central Minnesota and believes in the value of developing interpersonal skills that include negotiating and problem solving.

Jaime is a certified AAUW Work Smart/Start Smart Facilitator, is an active AAUW member and a local advocate for the AAUW's goal to end the gender pay gap. She has experience developing and conducting trainings and currently teaches classes in Project Management Communication for BWIS.

Jaime holds a BA in History from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Intelligence through Mercyhurst University of Pennsylvania. She is currently completing a Master's in History through Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
